"No. 2 we will provide the Mana Restoring Bullet to you as both u and No.7 will go as planned." No.8 replied and that command brought a few comments out from the Commando Mages themselves.

"Should we not let No. 5 or No.10 have it? They have the best firepower among the Commando Mages?" No.1 asked but No.8 shook her head since she had decided to keep Jin's advice into heart. Besides, the fact that there were only 2 Mana Restoring Bullets also meant that there would be more to come, allowing them to expand their rosters with Mages that can wield magic.

"We will proceed as planned, those two would be our scouting party to see what this prey that Vishnu was talking about. And even though No.10 and No.5 had the strongest firepower within our squad, they are not as nimble as No.2 and No.7 at all." No.8 replied and no one was against such a statement.

"Either of them would have blasted the prey so badly that there would be left with nothing but charred meat. Hahahah." No.3 tried to break a laugh into the entire situation and people started to agree that having such heavy firepower might actually backfire against them after all.

"However, No.2 and No.7, come back to us if you find that the situation cannot be handled by yourselves. Even though we do not have any mana, we still have the Manor as cover. And with the available Wand Rifles at hand...as well as the ammunition, I think we can make a stand using the Manor." No.8 replied as she still felt uneasy knowing that there were only 5 Wand Rifles were made available to them.

The other four Commando Mages would not have anything until the next stage.

"Since it's a manor, there should be some sort of kitchen around, we can explore and take a look whether there are any knives or cleavers lying at the corner so that we can use them as a desperate defensive measure." No.5 said, knowing that they were doing whatever they could with the resources presented to them.

"Sure. Otherwise, we just have to make use of these quarterstaffs that we looted from the Yogi Gangsters. Else, clear the dead yogis as planned while No.2 and No.7 make your descent into the Manor's Forest to see what Vishnu had installed for us."

And even without the Commando Mages' interference in the fight defending Ress, they had already received multiple reports of the War Boars flanking through the sides of their defences, breaking Ress Capital's formation.

So now, what they need to face is a War Boar or perhaps a family of them, hiding within the forest behind the Manor. Surely, they might not be of the same size as those Rifle Mages had faced during the defence against the Celestials, but the Commando Mages knew that those War Boars could enlarge their original size by three times the amount.

Thus, most of the Commando Mages were looking towards No. 8, wondering if she had regretted giving the remaining Mana Bullet to No.2 instead. Yet, on the contrary, she actually had a smirk on her face, so did No.2 and No.7 who had been rather happy hearing the news that their targets were the War Boars.

"There is nothing much to worry about. You can say that we are experts when it comes to War Boars," No.2 said and No.7 put her hands on his shoulders while giving everyone a thumbs up, as if everything would be a-okay.

"What gave you guys such a high level of confidence?" No.1 was oblivious to the current predicament and he believed that he was not the only one as well.

"Well, considering that we were previously hunters before becoming a Commando Mage and we were also the ones who gave actionable advice to the Rifle Mages on how to hurt those War Boars, I think you do not have to fret too much about the details." No.7 said and No.2 nodded his head with a wide smile around, as if telling the people that this particular stage would be over soon enough.

"Let's hope it's that easy. So far, they have been throwing weird or unexpected stuff at us. They might not be the War Boars we saw before... in fact, Vishnu that dude said 'Forest Boars' not the former." No.1 reiterated and the two scouts brushed it off.

"War Boars, Forest Boars, they are all still Boars. Nothing to worry about."

"Just do continue to stay cautious. The rest, quickly clear the bodies and prepare defensive manoeuvres in case things go south for the scouts." No.8 ordered and they complied.
