Chapter 399: In the Future, She Will Keep Running Away from Him

Looking at Julian Keaton’s back, Caden Lockwood turned his gaze to the surprise and romance he prepared for Evelyn Morgan. At this moment, however, he felt as if none of it mattered anymore.

After Julian left Southwood, he immediately called L.

As soon as the call connected, he said anxiously, "I’ve given the video to Caden as you said, and haven’t hinted anything or taken any action. Now quickly tell me Cece’s whereabouts!"

"Mr. Keaton, I really enjoy working with someone like you," L chuckled, "straightforward and no schemes. Honestly, your perfect cooperation makes it almost unbelievable."

"I want Cece’s whereabouts!" Julian’s voice squeezed through his teeth.

"I will send her address to your phone," L said solemnly, "but, Mr. Keaton, what if after you get the address, you tell Caden the truth? What should I do then?"

Julian was completely furious, yelling, "What exactly do you want?"

Betraying his friend was already making him quite uncomfortable.

To think that betraying his friend didn’t even get him what he wanted made Julian feel like killing someone.

"Please be patient and listen to me for one more sentence," L’s tone was bland, "If you tell Caden now that you were forced to give him the video, then I will tell Miss Lynch that you are rushing to find her. Or I could directly kidnap Miss Lynch and take her to your parents, which also seems like a good option."

Before Julian could speak, L continued: "The secret of the video, please keep it buried in your heart, Mr. Keaton! Otherwise, if Miss Lynch finds out you found her by betraying a friend, she’ll probably have an even deeper burden and might continue to flee from beside you in the future."

"Who the hell are you?" Julian was about to lose his mind.

"Go find Miss Lynch!" L whispered, "I wish Mr. Keaton and Miss Lynch to become lovers."

After saying that, L hung up the call.

Julian immediately opened the text message, looking at the address displayed, not caring whether there was a trap or not, instantly taking two trustworthy bodyguards and rushing to where Cecilia Lynch was...

At this moment, Evelyn stood at the crossroads, her tears still not dried.
